In collaboration with Niche Production, the Black Artist Collective (BAC) will host our annual Freedom Festival. This party in the park will showcase the diverse talent of creatives from across NYS, featuring comedians, live DJs, and a mini pop-up market with over 20 vendors.

About the event
In collaboration with Niche Production, the Black Artist Collective (BAC) will host Black August Comedy Festival. This one-day event will showcase the diverse talent of Syracuse alongside creatives from across the region, featuring comedians, live DJs, and a mini pop-up market with over 20 vendors. Bring your blankets, food, and friends for a laugh-out-loud, side-splitting celebration of Black Joy. The community is invited to this end-of-summer comedy cookout; COME THRU! The event is FREE and open to the community. Join us on Saturday, August 24th, from noon to 6:00 pm at Thornden Park Amphitheater at 100 Thornden Park Drive, Syracuse, NY 13210.
